We are looking to recruit 32 new experts to join our Scientific Advisory Committees.
This year we are also recruiting associate members, aimed at encouraging early and mid-career researchers to be involved in the work of the FSA, and to create a pipeline for future full members of the SACs.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with expertise in the following areas:
- Social Scientist (with a background in food systems)
- Economics
- Statistics
- Organisational/business behaviours background in food systems)
- Foodborne Virology
- Food Industry (fresh produce, composite foods, foods with complex international supply chains and quality requirements, major retailers e.g., supermarket)
- Meat Parasitology
- Antimicrobial Resistance in Food
- Lay Member
- GM/molecular biology (animal)
- Veterinary
- Toxicology
- Bioinformatics
- Clinical Toxicology
- General Toxicology
- Reproductive Toxicology
- Pathology
- Allergy
- Modelling
- Statistics
- Metabolism and Toxicokinetic
- Dietary Exposure Assessment
- Safety in the Workplace (workplace exposure assessment, irritancy & sensitisation studies, feed mill & farm context)
- Microbiology or molecular biology, specifically with expertise in genomics
- Analytical chemistry
- Food packaging
- Lay Member
